Not only it can rotate 360° degrees, but also it can swing 180° degree with opening beginning. It is smaller but can hold more weight. As for its specific capacity, please refer to following cases:
Case 1: When the magnet of the hook is adsorbed to horizontal thick steel, the direct pull strength can reach to the best, which means the hook can hold up to 30lb/14kg.
Case 2: When the magnet of the hook is adsorbed to vertical thick steel, theoretically the hook can hold 1/3 of its full capacity, which means can hold up to about 10lb/4.67kg in this case.
Note:
Direct pull strength – A plant hanging from a magnetic hook adsorbed to a steel or metal ceiling would be an example of “direct pull”.
Some of following facts or even more may affect the capacity of the hook: the texture quality, thickness and smoothness of the surface that our hook is adsorbed to, the friction force, etc.
